Run by the Auckland University Faculty of Arts, the aim was to secure a leading industry professional to give a public lecture and to contribute significantly with building the attendees skills and knowledge through conducting master classes, workshops, lectures and one-on-one sessions with attendees who specialise in film and screen production.
The first presenter was James Cameron, interviewed by VF trustee Roseanne Liang in 2020. The second was Jane Campion in 2021.
Interest continues in this form of industry information and we look to support effective initiatives such as this in the future.
